North East Derbyshire is a UK parliament constituency that is represented in the House of Commons by Natascha Engel of the Labour party.
The North East Derbyshire constituency has a total population of 91,156, of which 73,847 are eligible (18+) to vote (81%).
North East Derbyshire ranks 215th in a list of the largest constituencies in the UK (geographical size), and 418th in a list of the largest constituencies by population size.
Natascha Engel (born 9 April 1967) is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for North East Derbyshire since 2005. She has extensive involvement in the trade union movement and is currently Second Deputy Chair of Ways and Means (i.e. one of three deputy speakers). For her work in Parliament she was awarded Parliamentarian of the Year in 2013 by the Political Studies Association.
