Bio

Francis Anthony Aylmer Maude (born 4 July 1953) is a British politician. A member of the Conservative Party, he served as the Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General, and as a Member of Parliament (MP) representing the constituency of Horsham. He is the son of the former Conservative cabinet minister Angus Maude. In February 2015, he announced he will be standing down at the next General Election. It is suggested that as a former Cabinet Minister Maude will be elevated to the Lords and could therefore continue as a Minister.
