Bio

Nicholas Richard Hurd (born 13 May 1962), known as Nick Hurd, is a United Kingdom Conservative Member of Parliament. He was elected Member for Ruislip-Northwood (now Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner) at the May 2005 general election with 47.7% of the votes. Hurd was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Charities, Social Enterprise and Volunteering at the Cabinet Office in the Conservative-Liberal Democrat Coalition Government until July 2014.
