Conservative As many as 1.9 million working families will get the chance to benefit from a childcare subsidy worth up to £2,000 per child under government plans. The online scheme, affecting children up to the age of 12, will come in from September next year (2015). David Cameron said "squeezed" families would benefit http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26618139

Green Party There will be tax incentives for employers who provide support facilities at the workplace such as childcare, job-sharing, flexible working, counselling and family planning http://policy.greenparty.org.uk/wr.html

Labour We are radically reforming how Job Centre Plus helps lone parents: providing extra help with childcare, training and support to find family-friendly work, while requiring those with children aged three to take steps to prepare for work and actively to seek employment once their youngest child is seven years old.

Liberal Democrat Make work pay with policies such as raising the tax allowance, more free childcare and free school meals for all primary school children.

Plaid Cymru Plaid Cymru, the Party of Wales believes that the lack of childcare is one of the biggest barriers to employment and we are determined to provide affordable and high-quality childcare for every family in Wales http://www.partyof.wales/our-vision-for-our-children/

SNP The SNP has today highlighted the progress 2015 will bring on the roll out of free childcare – with parents on track to save up to £2,000 per year by the end of the next Parliament. Since the SNP came to power, we have increased nursery entitlement by 45 per cent for 3 and 4 year olds – from 412.5 hours per week in 2007 to 600 hours in 2014. This has saved families up to £707 per child per year. In 2015, the roll out is set to continue – with a focus on providing childcare for the most deprived two year olds. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2013/jul/10/cameron-miliband-cap-party-donations
